Scoliosis Surgery For Luke

Hello and welcome, Thankyou for taking the time out to read about my son's story. My son is in dire need of surgery for his scoliosis. Luke was diagnosed with Scoliosis 2 years ago at the age of 15. Within those 2 years Lukes spine has now got a 57 degree thoracic curve and a 37degree lumbar. The surgeon has said that Luke has got a severe trunk shift which needs immediate surgery. By having this pioneering vbt surgery Luke will not run the risk of being in a wheelchair, having severe blood loss or restrictions in his flexibility. With his Scoliosis Luke has become very depressed, He was such an active child and loved to go out and play football with his friends but since he has been diagnosed with Scoliosis Luke has become less active and has even been diagnosed with depression as he refuses to leave the house due to how he looks. He also  has severe alopecia, excema which has effected his face and has made his hair fall out, causing multiple bald spots on his head. On top of this Luke got diagnosed on the autistic spectrum and suffers with dyspraxia. Luke absolutlety loves football but he never leaves the house now because of how he looks, he  see's old pictures of himself and says that he just wants to be normal again ,if you can help him achieve this we will be so grateful.
