iPad's for Oncology kids at Xmas

My name is Luke Spalding, I'm 18 years old and 4 years ago I was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggresive cancer called Desmo Plastic Small Round Cell Tumour, DSRCT for short. I've had countless rounds of chemo and more surgeries than birthdays, I've also spent months upon months in hospital and still continue with treatment so I know what these kids are going through. Luckily I've never had to spend Christmas in hospital, but many kids each year have to spend what is supposed to be one of the best days of the year, sick, tired and stuck in a hospital bed.

I started out merely trying to raise enough money for 1 iPad for a little girl who had been diagnosed with the same cancer as I have. I saw her playing on a therapists iPad one day and saw how it made her forget about her sickness while she was engrossed in the games she was playing, I also saw how sad she was when it was time to give it back so decided to take to Facebook to attempt to buy her an iPad for herself. Not only did I manage to buy an iPad for her and her sister, I'd raised enough money to buy over 20 iPads that we decided to hand out on Christmas day to every oncology child who was having to spend Christmas in hospital.

Since the first little girl and her iPad we have raised 75+ iPads to give out on Chsitmas day over the past few years, not just in Oncology wards but also in other wards such as ICU with spares we had. 

Donating to this cause really does make a difference to these kids who really do truley deserve something to brighten up their day come Christmas time. 100% of all funds will go towards buying iPads for the very special kids who deserve them.
