My name is Taylor Cusack and I am a sophomore at Century High School in Pocatello, ID. I have been nominated, by one of my teachers, to represent my school at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Congress of Future Medical Leaders is a national program honoring academically superior high school students dedicated to the service of humanity through medicine.
At the congress I will have the opportunity to meet noble prize winners, leaders in medicine, prominent medical school deans and award-winning young inventors and scientists. I will also have a once in a life time experience to view a surgery and submit questions to the surgeon during the procedure!
I'm extremely excited to have the chance to meet and interact with other students who have the same desire to be in the medical field. I have wanted to be a doctor ever since I can remember. One of the main reasons that I have chosen to purse the medical field is my passion to better other people's lives.
