Learning Through Art, Inc., (LTA) has been building “community” through art for 25 years. Offering programs of cultural arts — the most common bond between people and cultures — to increase opportunities for collaboration, arts education, artistic growth, community engagement, and economic development within the Greater Cincinnati community (and beyond). The LTA programs seek to build bridges, break down barriers, and bring neighbors and neighborhoods together in celebration of the mosaic beauty of our region. Since 1992, we have served over 1,000,000 community members, instilling a sense of art appreciation, cultural understanding, and connectedness.
CINCY READS!™ – CELEBRATING 25 YEARS
Cincy Reads!™ uses LTA’s four-time EMMY nominated, national award winning performing arts literacy program, Books Alive! For Kids® (BA!FK®), making books come alive through sight, sound, and touch. BA!FK® targets children from pre-school through third grade, with an emphasis on inner city and rural schools. BA!FK® enriches our community’s vibrancy by promoting the development of 21st century skills and deepens feelings of inclusion, engagement and connection to community. The desired results will empower families to embrace literacy and reading as a lifelong tool for learning.

Learning Through Art is extremely grateful for your support in building community through art with literacy at Cincy Reads. Yourdonation as small as $15.00 will put a back pack in a child's hands and start building a library at home. Get updates on the project and schedule on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We hope you'll join us for Cincy Reads Weekend!
