Hello All,
I have set up this account to assist in funding my Tuition in Nursing School. I am currently a LVN pursuing my RN. This is a journey I've been on for quite some time now. I was recently accepted into an Accelerated Nursing Program, a process that involves an Entrance exam, GPA from prereq classes, a panel interview and a short essay. With over 100 applicants, I was granted a seat in a class of 30 students.
After financial aide was issued, my remaining balance is 40k. I can set up a payment plan with the institution but that amount needs to be paid within the 20 month course. My graduation date is October 2016!! I can SEE it and FEEL it! I've knocked on the door and it opened.. I need help stepping through the threshold.
On Friday, March 27th I have to either accept my seat in the program or give it up to an alternate. The ONLY reservation I have about starting the program is the financial burden.
I come from a family of nurses... My grandmother, mother and both of my sisters are all Nurses.. I would be the first to become an RN, an achievemeent I really want! I'm doing this for my family.. my babies!
In addition to donations, I welcome resources for scholarships.
