Dear family, friends, and loved ones of the Lowerys,
On Monday, August 13th, Mickey was severely injured at work by malfunctioning equipment, receiving 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree chemical burns. He was rushed to the hospital, where he will be for weeks or longer. Mickey’s medical team will need to perform multiple surgeries, and he will be unable to work at all for at least several months.
As Mickey recovers and Erin supports him in this awful and painful journey, as well as navigating the complicated and very slow process of what financial assistance is available from state programs, they are without any income and face many immediate and pressing financial needs, from rent and bills to the inevitable extra expenses that come up in emergencies.
Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the wages that Mickey is unable to bring home for the immediate future. Even if you are only able to give a small amount, every little bit helps!
Erin and Mickey are both so humble about asking for help, and want you to know how very much they appreciate whatever you are able to contribute!
