Lowe House Fire

$20,185 of $25,000 goal

On January 29th, Perri Lowe lost everything in a house fire. She was rescued by a neighbor, who pulled her out the window. Unfortunately, her beloved dogs, cats, and foster kittens did not make it out. Perri, who has asthma, was treated for smoke inhalation and burns on her hands and eyes--injuries she received trying to save her animals.

Perri has done so much for the community--she is an active foster for Nashville Cat Rescue, saving hundreds of lives each year.  Let's lift her up and support her in this time of need.

Donations will be used to replace necessities lost in the fire such as clothing, personal items, medications, glasses, glucose monitor, blood pressure monitor, and phone. After she's released from the hospital, she's planning to recover at her son's house and will determine what to do about housing, furniture, and other household items. Perri's dear friend and fellow NCR foster Brandi Hodge has been by her side in the hospital. At Perri's request, Brandi is withdrawing the money from gofundme and will issue a check to Perri.

Any amount helps. Thank you so much for your support!

This is Perri Lowe

I truly appreciate all the donations!! Through this heart break of losing my beloved pets was so traumatizing that I believe I may never get over it. I truly miss all of them. They were my second set of children. But at least I got out with my life. As I have grandchildren and children that need me. And more than I ever knew I have great friends from the animal world and from the personal world that I really want to thank for everything that they've done for me. As I start my new life, I see that there is a reason to carry on. I still see my animals in the corner of my eye. But they'll always be in the biggest corner of my heart. I have a new apartment. And starting over like I was a teenager. With my first apartment. I truly thank all donations big and small. The clothing the items everything that was donated was surely needed. And if I can ever pay back everyone I will gladly do so. I want to thank all my Nashville cat rescue women for going out to my burned up house and getting my animals together for cremation. And for trapping outside ferals who will probably never really ferals.. I appreciate everyone again and thank you so much! Thank you again

Sorry it has taken me so long to update. Perri now has the bandages off her hand and is doing really well. She is continuing to see the doctor's to work on her lungs and her eye which will probably have a permanent scar.

Perri had two cats that were at the Mewsic City Cat Cafe that were her fosters. We knew she was lonely and missed the loved ones she lost in the fire. Nashville Cat Rescue adopted those two cats out to Perri. Joker and Carlita are now with Perri and very happy.

Perri is wanting to do an update herself so I am hoping to get her on here one day next week. Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers and please continue with them as Perri continues to heal mentally and physically.

Good Morning, Just a small update. Perri has signed a 3 month lease in Knoxville, TN right down the road from her son. She will stay there to finish her treatment. After the 3 months lease she will then decide if she is coming back to Nashville or staying in Knoxville. She has put in applications for apartments in Nashville waiting on responses. I am heading back there Saturday to check on her and I will provide you with pictures and another update.

I went to visit Perri yesterday. we took her around to several Goodwill's and lunch. Perri did have a hard time walking around without loosing her breath. I know it will take time. She has put in several applications for apartments so hopefully one will come through soon for her. I will update again in a few days. Keep the thoughts and prayers coming.
