Loving cat is hit-and-run victim. Please help!

On the night of 10 May 2019, our beloved cat, Teddy, was the victim of a hit-and-run driver on the corner of Fordwych and Minster Road in West Hampstead. 

A sweet, talkative joy of a cat, Teddy delights passersby with his creative ploys for attracting attention and an occasional tummy rub, and is beloved by the neighbourhood.
His injuries include a broken and dislocated pelvis and backbone, a wound to his side and bruising on his face. He requires immediate, and very expensive surgery. 

There could be more on the way.

We visited him today. His gentle left forepaw was bandaged with a needle piercing through the gauze; his beautiful green eyes dilated due to the painkillers on drip-feed into him.

But he was aware of our presence: his breathing slowed noticeably and he managed to generate his gentle purr -- transporting us to a happier time together as a family, sitting on the couch at home in complete serenity. 


As recent inheritors to his ownership from our dearly departed next-door neighbour, 
Jane Evans, we are not able to cover the ongoing cost of taking care of this gem of a creature.


Please help us to provide for his recovery.
