My wife and I just received news we could and  would never have prepared for. My young 25 year old wife of two years has  been diagnosed with a rare cancer, Thymic Carcinoma. This could not come at a worse time,  I am currently unemployed trying to get myself work as a professional soccer player as I have been for the past 8 years. As of now we only know that the treatment will be to remove the cancerous tumor that is on her Thymus and address the cancer that has already spread. I just want the chance to grow old with the love of my life, have kids, watch our kids grow older and have kids. I want that for us, and we could use any help anyone is willing to offer. If you have anything to give please, I beg you, help save my wife. They believe it is aggressive and is spreading quickly. If anyone knows of a great doctor or specialist for this treatment please let us know anything will help.

Hey Everyone,

I'm very sorry it has been so long since I posted an update about Melissa. But I'm happy to report that things have gone very well and she has responded very quickly! The tumor in her chest has shrunk 1.5 inches already (now about 3 inches in size), the nodules in her lungs are gone, and the adrenal mass is gone, all after her first round of R-EPOCH Chemo which is a huge victory for her physically and mentally. Because of the mass on her adrenal gland going away after chemo they believe it also was cancerous, the concern then is lymphoma returning in the central nervous system in the future so she is undergoing additional chemo via lumbar puncture as a preventative to make sure that doesn't occur. I am so proud of her strength and courage throughout this process. She has been nothing but positivity and smiles and it really has been a joy to see. We are so grateful for everyone who has helped us along this journey, we honestly could not have made it this far without your unwavering support. We are on our way to cured as she is currently undergoing her second of six rounds of chemo at U of M. We are so grateful to be at one of the best hospitals in the world to make sure my sweet Melissa gets the treatment she needs so she can kick cancer's ass! Please keep sending positive thoughts our way and share if you can!!!
Wonder Woman!!!

Hey friends, so there is lots to fill everyone in on and for the first time in what has been the worst week of my life, I have a little bit of positive news. Turns out, the doctors in Denver, got the diagnoses wrong. After extensive testing and a biopsy they have would that Melissa actually has a B-cell lymphoma. It is a very aggressive form of lymphoma so Melissa has had to start her chemo treatment right away, but it is a type of cancer than is very treatable and cureable. We honestly could not have made it this far without the love and support we have received from everyone around the globe. We are so grateful for her diagnosis and I firmly believe everyone’s positive attitudes and thoughts truly helped us receive this diagnosis and give us a fighting chance to win this. I’m so proud of Melissa and the fight she has in her, we still have a monster battle ahead of us, but with your continued support. We can win this fight. Again thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts. We will forever be grateful to you all!!
