Love for Deva

Our beloved Aunty Deva Yamashiro has been battling cancer since May 2016, and her illness has turned for the worst in recent weeks. Her son, Kaloku, has been working tirelessly to help Aunty Deva beat this illness, but she is in critical condition at this time. 

She has been the “glue” to keep the Hawaiian community together in the Pacific Northwest for over 18 years, and now, she and her `ohana need our help.  If medically possible, Kaloku hopes to take her home to Hawaii so she can see her `ohana at home and touch the `aina, soak in the magical Hawaiian sunshine, and feel the trade winds blow through her hair once again.  He is also administering natural treatments with strong conviction to beat this illness, as there are no treatments available to her in Western medicine at this time.  They are incurring and will continue to incur high medical and daily family expenses.
