Louis' Medical Fund

My dad Louis Mendiola has never been sick his entire 61yrs. He started feeling bad about a month ago and wasn't quite sure why. He finally gave in last month and went to the ER here in Wichita Falls, after many tests, a kidney biopsy and now 3 hospital stays in one month, he was diagnosed with Primary Systemic Amyloidosis. This is a rare disease that has affected his kidneys and his heart. The treatment is a Peripheral blood stem cell transplant. This will consists of heavy chemo and a bone marrow transplant. This is going to be a long and painful process which will keep my dad out of work for 6-8 months, including a 3 week stay in the hospital in Dallas with a 3 week stay in the Dallas area for observation. I am hoping you would help me take some of the worry and burden from our family so we can concentrate on him becoming well again. All money will be used for medical treatments and to help with any costs related to him not being able to work. Any amount is appreciated and we also appreciate any prayers you can send our family.
