Los Pipitos San Ramon

We are Sister Communities of San Ramon, Nicaragua, a Durham-based non-profit, and we have been supporting Los Pipitos San Ramon for over 15 years. This amazing organization has helped hundreds of children with disabilities from remote, mountainous communities of San Ramon receive free physical therapy and early-intervention education that they wouldn't have access to otherwise.  We dedicate a part of our annual budget to help Los Pipitos every year, but the demand for the services that Los Pipitos offers is constantly growing, and even with our donation and that of local donors, Los Pipitos falls short of their annual needs by approximately $7,000.  That's why we're hosting this campaign to raise the money to cover Los Pipitos' 2017 budget.  Your donation will cover costs like transportation for children and their mothers to get to the center every week, maintenance of the center, physical therapy and educational materials, Nicaraguan Sign Language classes, food for the children, and salaries of the trained professionals that help the children. 100% of the donations made through this online campaign will go directly to Los Pipitos San Ramon.
