My sister and I have set ourselves a christmas project, in memory of our mum who sadly passed away this summer aged 50.
Our aim is to reach out to those in need this christmas, targeting the homeless, an animal charity and families who are less fortunate than many of us.
This is quite a big project, which we both are focused on achiveing to help those in need.I will be working with an animal charity and liasing with various local charities around the Plymouth area, and also baking a large amount of goods to give out to those needing some festive cheer this year.
We are also starting to get a varitey of goods together to go out to those in need. Any donations towards basic items such as toileteries, basic food, warm clothing and other basic gifts will help others have a special christmas this year.
Heli is a keen athlete, and has set herself several sports challenges over the next few months, which we will keep you updated about!
We are working closly with the Salvation army in Plymouth, and Margaret Green animal charity in Brentor.
For those who knew our mum, she spent a lot of time helping others and particularly found christmas time difficult. As a family, we always made the most of the special times, and we would like to make a difference to other families and people that may find it a difficult period.
