We are a Destination Imagination team from Long Meadow Elementary School in Rochester Hills, MI., that wants to compete at Global finals! International level where more than 8,000 kids will compete .
What is Destination Imagination?
Is a program where students use the creative process to turn their ideas into reality and learn invaluable skills through the process including: Creative & Critical Thinking, Team Building, problem Solving, Risk Taking, Project Management, Perseverance and Self-Confidence.
Our team, A.A.S.C.U.S., made of fourth and fifth graders from Long Meadow Elementary placed third at their State Tournament at the beginning of this month after receiving third place at their regional tournament in March. This means they have qualified for competition at Global Finals where they will compete against teams from more than 15 countries.
Destination Imagination Global Finals, held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville on May 22-26.
