My name is Rob Corr and I am to run for a council seat with Social Democrats in Laytown / Bettystown Ward.

The Social Democrats have selected me to challenge for a seat to represent the people of Laytown area on Meath County/City Council at next May's local elections.

To run a successful election campaign candidates will need to have some funding.
Donations: A “donation” means any contribution given for political purposes by any person to a candidate at a local election or a political party in connection with a local election which is accepted in whole or in part by or on behalf of a candidate.

I would be delighted to get donations of any size €1 - €100.
But If you cant donate but would like to asst my campaign in any way just drop me a line  www.socialdemocrats.ie - I have many things to be done during the election, and any help I can get will be gratefully received.

About Me:
Rob Corr is from North Dublin original but has been living in East Meath area since 2002; Rob has been working in the area of Special Needs for over 15 years. “I’m thrilled to be given the opportunity to run for a council seat on behalf of the Social Democrats. I firmly believe that we can deliver real improvements in people’s lives through grass roots activism, compassion and bold leadership.

“Local democracy is at its strongest when people work with others to improve our daily lives and our environment in ways big and small. I certainly will be keen to do what I can to work with others to help make a difference in sports, special needs advocacy and youth engagement”

 Rob Corr added:
“I’m really pleased to be standing for Meath council with the Social Democrats. We are a young and fast-growing party that stands for honest politics, a strong economy and a fair society.

“Our leaders have a reputation for hard work and a focus on sustainable policies that are about ensuring that everyone has a fair go and gets the supports they need to reach their potential. We plan to offer voters in every local authority in the country a chance to vote for our vision of change at next May’s council elections.”
