Send Liza to the NY Academy of Art

I remember when the idea to go to the New York Academy of Art came up, I was sitting in a small studio apartment, in a small city an ocean away from everyone and everything familiar when I stumbled upon the Academy's website. Ten minutes later I knew that my future plans had radically changed. I was excited and anxious, I had found THE school. It was in New York, it was expensive but it was marvelous.

Three years later, I am accepted into the MFA program that starts this September and I am now asking for your support to help me make the most of it. Tuition fees for the 2016-2017 school year are calculated to be 38,383.00 USD and the Academy suggests doubling the amount to cover living expenses. 

I am applying for a number of grants and scholarships but there is no guarantee that I will receive them. Your donations will help me to cover some of the living expenses and provide the peace of mind to be able to concentrate on gaining all the knowledge provided at the Academy. 

I am offering below some rewards for donations, but really any amount is greatly appreaciated! I also understand that a donation might be beyond the means of many however sharing this page with your friends and family will be of enormous help!

I would like to thank those who have been supporting me thus far, my friends and family who offered ideas and solutions to the challenges I faced without ever getting tired of my babbling about the Academy.
