Please help us support Livy and her family through this difficult and trying period of their lives. All donations will go to offset the costs of her care, travel to medical appointments and recovery as well as donations to those organizations who research is advancing the care Livy needs.

Olivia "Livy" Ingram is the second of three children born to Franz and Jennifer Ingram. Their only daughter Olivia commands the attention of a room with her shining smile and her intelligent eyes. She holds her own with her rambunctious older brother named Whitner, or as she affectionately refers to him, Whippy. A fan of all things Frozen, Minnie Mouse and Play-Doh, Livy tackled all the problems of a three year old head on, from fighting the authority on bed time to dictating whether she had a quesadilla or cheese tortilla for dinner. She recently welcomed the addition of baby Franz to the family quickly naming him “my baby.”

Olivia Ingram was diagnosed with Gorlin Syndrome shortly before her second birthday. Her parents and doctors vigilance led to the early discovery of the syndrome, but the potential impact on her young life did not escape them. They set up several routine appointments with doctors to keep a close watch on her health. Not long after her third birthday Olivia went to one of these appointments and tumor was discovered on her cerebellum. It had grown to the size of a golf ball in a very short window of time.

She was immediately put into PICU and preparations began to extract the tumor. Within a week she had a surgery to remove the tumor, and recovery and preparation for what was to come next began.  There is no real “cure” for many pediatric brain tumors, many of the choices facing the parents of children inflicted with the form of pediatric brain cancer Livy is facing are “the devils choices” as one of her doctors put it. A few of the largest hurdles you must overcome when you are put face to face with this disease are the lack of awareness, lack of funding for research and cures, and the general support needed to make the decisions that will impact a young life forever.

Livy began intensive chemotherapy on September 18, 2015.
