Liverpool Lils has been a San Francisco staple for 42 years. We have shared memories with all of you, and have thoroughly enjoyed serving you in the past. We are excited to reopen and continue our service for decades to come.
As you know, we suffered a fire on April 29, 2015 at 7:30 in the morning. While the restaurant itself did not suffer fire damage the building did, and the smoke and water damage in Lils is extensive. We would like to thank the SFFD Local # 16 and 51 for their fast arrival and incredible effort that kept us, all of us, from losing our memories and livelihood. Part of what makes Lils such a lovely place are the faces and personalities who serve you. We need to help support the employees who remember your name, your order, and your favorite seat. Our employees have always been there for us and in this difficult time it is important to us that we help them as best we can. In addition, we will likely need help supporting the rebuild and clean-up.
No donation is too small. No prayer, positive thought, or well wish goes unnoticed. Our hearts have been warmed by the local community and San Francisco as a whole. We want so badly to be back up and running to serve you, enjoy the friendly atmosphere that is Lils, and indulge in what we all feel is "normal".
