New liver for Don (Donald Ruest)

My family and I are trying to raise funds, to help Don with the expenses for a liver transplant and associated health costs with liver disease.

If you know Don, there's no question you have a good story to tell.  Being well know as a very good joke-teller and for his great  sense of humor,  Don also has touched the hearts of a lot of people who knew him.  
He is a  proud member of the Grand-Falls police force and has served his city for over 20 years.  When off-duty, his dedication to his community never wavered, being well known for his generosity and his big heart.   He is generous and kind to everyone and treats everybody as part  of his own family.

Don and Rita ( Donald's wife) will have to be in Montreal for his surgery and has to live there while waiting for his liver transplant.

The medication alone is over $1,000 a month and that doesn't include the traveling, food and the over night stays.
