Art for kids around the world

We are Ivanke & mEy, two Argentine illustrators and art teachers. We have been traveling for 19 months through 26 countries in the Americas, Asia and Africa giving free art-workshops to thousands of kids.

Little Big Worlds is a project created for children worldwide. We are making our greatest efforts to reach those who are most vulnerable. This is why the activities usually take place at rural schools, slums, hospitals, refugee camps, foster homes, indigenous communities, etc. We visit people who seldom or never before had the opportunity to paint and enjoy artistic activities. 

We always invite children to play, to express themselves, to think about who they are and what they wish for. We invite them to meet kids from different cultures through the videos we show during the workshops. 

We believe that art heals and acts as therapy. In this video you will hear kids from all around the world speaking about how important art is for them. You will also see some of the works of the thousands of kids who have taken part of the past art-workshops. 

Our next goal is to paint with the children living as refugees in Europe.

By donating to this campaign you'll help us to continue bringing art to many more corners of the world. In the next three months we'll be drawing with disadvantaged kids in Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Hungary and Turkey.

So far we have always covered all our expenses, and purchased all art materials out of personal savings and a previous small crowd-funding campaign.
