SCRIVER, Lisa Marie October 8, 1975 - August 4, 2013

The Lisa Scriver Legacy Fund will provide funding for Parent Association Committees to implement social/emotion and mental health education in classrooms, for parents and provide professional development opportunities for teachers.

Lisa was an amazing mother of Sebastian, Faith and Devon. Lisa was a bright light in any room, her laugh was contagious and her quick wit was always timed right. She was a Personal Support Worker and was loved by many of her patients and clients. What many did not know was Lisa struggled with addictions and mental health from a very young age. She lived in a rural town in Ontario and access to mental health resources was limited. Without the help she needed Lisa took her life and passed away August 4, 2013. This fund is being set up by her sister Angela Slade to honour Lisa’s life, her children and her family that remain.  The funds raised will be donated to Parent Association Committee’s across Canada to implement mental health initiatives in schools.  Angela Slade, MA, RCC is a Registered Clinical Counsellor practicing in British Columbia, Canada. She is the Founder of VIBE Marketplace where she donates 10% of all proceeds from her #impactbox gift boxes to the Lisa Scriver Legacy Fund. Your contribution will add to that fund. Angela’s goal is to raise $100,000.00 to donate back into schools for 2020! Please help her with this cause and make an impact with your donation or purchase of one of Angela’s Impact Gift boxes at www.angelaslade.com Please SHARE our Mission so we can make an impact on mental health across Canada so families do not have to suffer in silence. Please use the hashtage #impactbox so Angela can reach out and personally thank you.
