Lisa Crowder passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, June 16.
In her honor, with the permission of her family, we would like to raise the funds to purchase and dedicate a park bench to be installed in Medlock Park. Lisa was consistent in her efforts to better the neighborhood through countless organized endeavors. We will all feel a lasting effect from her improvements to Medlock and her involvement in fostering positive neighborly relationships.
A 6', no-maintenance, classic park bench costs ~$600, the plaque will cost an additional ~$150, and we will use any additional money raised to cover costs of the crowdfund and installation (volunteers welcome!). If there is any remainder, it will likely be donated to a charity in Lisa's name.
