Before we tell you about us-- let us assure you ANY and ALL funds raised are used to directly combat poverty in our community. We're feeding, clothing and supporting those in need on a daily basis!
We are a mother & daughter team, a dynamic duo so to speak, who are hoping to estab...lish a new non-profit organization in Fredericton and surrounding areas! Born and raised on the mantra "charity begins at home" we took a look around and quickly were able to identify a multitude of simple ways to enrich the lives of others while building a stronger, healthier community for all of us!
People want to help, plain & simple, they just don't always know where best to direct their efforts. That is where the concept for "Linking Lives" arose from; one centralized unit that acts a hub wherein those in need will be "Linked" with the specific skill, service or resource they need.
Combined we have experienced most of life's struggles and were always fortunate enough to have the right people, at the right time to support us, cheer us on, lend us money, provide drives, or just hold our hands through a tough time. As a result of the abundance of kindness and support we received we want to return that favor to others in our community!
Poverty and homelessness are two causes close to our hearts and will be our focus to begin with. That being said there are a variety of ways we can address both of those issues that can range from; education & awareness, material supports, advocacy, mentoring, or hand holding for example.

Our goal?? To build one community network of support with arms at the ready to wrap around those in a crisis. In addition to that, we want to become involved in facilitating ongoing relationships with those who would benefit from the kind of personal links that we believe truly change lives.
The Result: Changed lives AND joyful inspired givers and volunteers.
