Michael Lindsey Memorial Fund

On Thursday, Jan 11th, 2018, 11 year old Michael Lindsey was diagnosed with brain cancer.   Michael travels and performs with his family's gospel bluegrass band, The Lindsey's.    At this time, the family is making heart wrenching decisions for his treatment and care. 

They are a closeknit family of 11 children.  Mom, Tammy Lindsey posted this message on Facebook. 

Some days are harder than others. Today has been one of the hardest of my life.

I share this to ask for prayer because I know prayer is powerful and I know God is mighty! We don’t presume to tell God what he has to do, but we do cry out to Him for mercy and grace and we ask.

Would you all join us in praying for my little boy, Michael? He was diagnosed today with brain cancer. I know many of you know and love Michael.

We are still processing, comforting one another, praying, praising...trying to eat and drink and do all those things that were part of life yesterday. We all need prayer.

I trust you understand that I won’t be able to respond to everyone. I may not even look at this post again. But I know you all will be praying and loving us through this trial. I’ll just say in advance that I’m thankful for each of you.

I know God is able to calm a storm as quickly as it arises. We trust Him in all things.

Give some extra hugs to those you love! May God be glorified through us!
