Lilly's story
Lilly is our 10 year young rescued staffordshire bull terrier mix. She is the sweetest girl and everyone that meets her can't help but fall in love. She was rescued because a new resident where she lived had allergies so they were going to euthanize her. Thankfully her mom found her and she had been able to live a happy life giving kisses to all her family and friends.
Unfortunately, during her routine annual exam a few weeks ago a radiograph revealed that Lilly has a 6cm tumor in her right lung. Thankfully, it has yet to metastasize.
However, there is a dark cloud under that silver lining. Even though Lilly has a pet insurance policy, they refuse to cover any treatment for her tumor. We are fortunate enough that Lilly's mom works for a wonderful veterinary practice and is eligible for a discount but the costs of the support care for her cancer are proving to be financially difficult for her mom.
So, that's why we are here. We are asking for help so that we can allow Lilly to get the cancer treatment she needs so she can continue to let her light shine in this world. Lilly doesnt know she is sick yet and we are hoping that you can find the kindness in your heart to help us make it so she doesn't have to know, for as long as possible.
