Lilipad for school books in Uganda

Lilipad's aim is to set up little libraries in very underprivileged schools. Our goal is to share with the children some of the books that changed us when we were young.
The first Lilipad project will be to provide 100 kids in Kyabirwa Primary School (Uganda) with a whole year of school books. These books can be used up to 5 years, until the program changes again, so they could be potentially up to 500 kids benefiting from the project. This represents 6,500 euros. We hope to raise half of this amount by organising cultural events in Berlin, and the other half thanks to donations.
The total amount of the crowdfunding campaign is 2,750 euros and not 3,250 euros because we have a 500 euro promised donation by a charity called Shams.
