Hey! Welcome to the crowdfunding page for "Like You", a new webseries. Well done on making it this far - you could've clicked a link that leads to pictures of piglets eating cupcakes, but you clicked ours instead! You're the best!
You've probably got a few questions, so here goes:
What is "Like You" and why the hell should I care about it?
Okay, that was a little aggressive, but let me give you some answers. "Like You" is a webseries created in Perth, Western Australia. It's a modern romantic comedy, with six short episodes making up the first season. Do you like "Girls"? "Broad City"? "When Harry Met Sally"? We think you'll like "Like You". If you don't like them, I'm sorry, but there's nothing we can do about your terrible taste in TV and movies. There's probably a Pozible for that though.
Like You is written by Amanda Clarke and Verity Softly, and Robert Woods takes the lead on the technical side of things. It features some of Perth's funniest actors and comedians, and was shot entirely in WA.

How much does it cost?
Nothing! We're firm believers in free content. This cool new thing called The Internet means that we can share our ideas and art far and wide, and we're really into that. The series is launching in May, and after that it can be viewed for free anytime on YouTube.
Okay, then why do you want my money?
We shot and produced the series with $0 in the bank, and relied on the talent and generosity of our artists, crew and community to create a series with amazing production values.
However, to get the series seen by as many people as possible, a little moolah is required.
So what exactly will the money be used for?
Advertising, post-production costs and entry fees into web series competitions and festivals all require cold hard cash. We will keep you updated of exactly where the money is going as we spend it, so you can keep up to date with how "Like You" is travelling and be sure that it's not being spent on anything dodgy, like fancy monkeys that are trained to clean our teeth for us.

You are an absolute solid gold human and we are eternally grateful. Your help in making our little series reach the rest of the world is very much appreciated - we know there's a lot of things to spend your money on, so we're really chuffed you chose to spend a little of it on us!
But what do I do if I can't help out financially?
That's cool too! Money is tight but you're still a total legend who wants to support art! By watching and sharing our series you're supporting us as well - posting the link to your Facebook page or Twitter, sending the Youtube link to your friends, harassing your family about it at dinner time - all of these are great ways to spread the word and get "Like You" noticed!
