Lifting up Lisa Mackall & Family

Donation protected
Many of you are familiar of the story of the Mackall Family. In 2012, many of us followed along as Lisabeth Mackall chronicled the ongoing recovery of her husband, Officer Frank Mackall, after his car crash while on duty. The Mackall family opened their story to all of us so that others could understand how a trauma can impact so many people, and truly, it allowed an unprecedented look at the inside workings of the thin blue line after a law enforcement critical event.
The Mackall family continues to educate both in the areas law enforcement and brain injury, training others in the recovery process and preparing families for trauma related incidents. With this education process, they have impacted many officers, families and others with their journey.

In January of this year, Lisabeth was confronted with a new journey – Stage 3 metastatic breast cancer. This presented an additional challenge for their family, both emotionally and financially.

Lisabeth is has finished her chemo treatment program, and has had multiple surgeries this fall.   There were significant issues with the surgeries, and Lisa has been in and out of the hospital with infenctions, extreme pain, and wound issues.  She had hoped to be back to work by this time.  Her recovery has been one of setbacks, adjustments, and tremendous will.

Lisa, Frank and their family are warriors on this journey called life.  Lights in the world.  They have and continue to face adversity with hope and grace.

Please consider a donation, meal, prayers for the Mackall family.  Gift them with peace of mind that financial needs will be met.   They are also accepting meals and restaurant gift cards- sign up here:  http://www.takethemameal.com/meals.php?t=PTTZ3194.

This is a revised Go Fund Me page created by Amy Jensen, known in their law enforcement family.  Please share and forward this message!

Many thanks from those who love and lift up the Mackall family and from Lisa and Frank.
