Medical Relief for Timmy & Emma

Donation protected
On the evening of August 2, our son Tim, and his 13year old daughter Emma, were involved in an accident in South Dakota. Emma was transported by ambulance an hour away to the nearest hospital with a broken left arm, broken right fingers, a head wound, bruised vertebrae in her lower back and large areas of skin trauma which appeared like burned tissue over her whole back, right leg and foot, both arms and hands.

She is truly amazing as she remains positive and happy and always concerned about her family. In the last six weeks I have never heard her complain even though she has had to endure the painful cleaning of her wounds everyday to prevent infection and skin grafts. Tim was life flighted 6 hours away to a neuro trauma center with 2 serious spinal cord injuries, a broken neck-C5 and C6, 2 broken discs T11 and T12 in his back and frontal lobe brain trauma. The surgeons said 5% of people with his injury pass away and the other 95% become quadriplegics. Through many hours of surgery the neurosurgeons were able to stabilize his neck and spine.

Tim is strong and continues to work hard each day to recover and be able to care for and support his family. He will have many hours of physical therapy and trips to the hospital that he knows will bring increasing financial and emotional burdens to his wife Heather and their 5 girls.  At this time he is now able to walk and talk and is progressing each day. We are so grateful for the many prayers that have been answered in their behalf but we know the road to recovery will be long, hard and expensive. Tim and Heather have five young children to support at home and he will not be able to return to work for many months to come.

Tim is extremely hardworking and is always helping those in need. His family has already been through so much in the last 3 years. With the birth of twins came open heart surgery for their little daughter Olivia at 11 days old, a storm caused power lines to fall on their home and caught it on fire causing major damage and 3 months ago while working 300 feet up in a windmill Tim had a cardiac event and was rushed to the hospital. His health condition caused him to have to change careers and he had 30 more days until his new insurance would begin, when this accident occurred.

Even through all of this they would never ask for help but continually offered it to others in need. They are an amazing family and truly in need of financial help at this time to pay their mounting medical costs and support their children in the months ahead. We are sincerely asking for your help to ease their burdens.  Any donation will bless their lives greatly and allow the much needed medical care for them to continue. Please share this message with your family and friends and thank you so much for helping lift their lives today.
