Lewis & Logan - Helping Prem Babies

After 8 years of multiple fertility treatments Lynn and Tony Donnelly eventually fell pregnant with twins.  The pregnancy itself wasn't without numerous complications. Making Lewis and Logan Donnelly their much loved and sought after little miracles. 

The boys came into this world on 25th February 2015, when their terrified mum was only 25 weeks pregnant.   Lewis weighing only 1lb 7oz and Logan weighing 1lb 11oz.  Lynn and Tony were told their chances of survival were slim and to try and prepare themselves for one if not both boys not making it.  

So so far the boys are 9 weeks old and still fighting away  against all of the odds.  This journey has been like a roller coaster having many lows such as multiple sepsis e.coli suspected meningitis and cardiac operations and many highs.  Such as the first time Lynn got to hold both boys together for the first time. 




or the first time Lynn and Tony got to change their wee boys nappies.   This journey has been one of the most tough and rewarding experiences of their lives. This has been greatly helped by the fabulous support of all of the staff at Wishaw General Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. (NICU). 

The Donnelly family would very much like to both thank the NICU Staff for all of their wonderful support and also do something that may benefit and support families of premature babies in the future. This is a fantastic cause and Lewis & Logan would very much like your help in thanking the exceptional staff for saving their lives on multiple occasions and for all the hard work that they do.
