Levi Verwoest Sailboat & Livelihood Fund

Donation protected
On Thanksgiving morning  2018,  Levi was rescued 25 miles off the coast of  Australia after spending 12 hrs adrift on his capsized Catamaran.

Thankfully, his life was saved, but he lost everything- his boat was his home, his office, as well as his workshop. The sea has claimed his clothes, phone, bank cards, passport, as well as his specialized tools used to repair boats.

Levi began sailing when he was seven, learned to repair boats at the age of thirteen and then he graduated with an AS degree in Small Vessel Fabricating & Boat Repair. Thus achieving his dream of being able to make a living while sailing around the world. Currently Levi has embarked on a 1000 mile journey to the U.S. Embassy in Sydney to obtain a temporary passport to fly to his home port of Honolulu.

The sea is where Levi has spent his life and is his passion, therefore, as his parents we are fundraising to restore his boat and his livelihood so he may return to living his dream.
