Let's help Kerry!

On Monday, July 1st, Kerry was hit by a car while on his way to work at North Sails -- the driver fled, leaving Kerry badly injured and his Vespa destroyed.  He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center's ICU where he remained until yesterday, July 7th.  He is in good spirits, but he has a long recovery ahead of him.  Among his injuries, he has a broken arm, a broken leg, 5 broken ribs, several crushed vertebrae, and a broken collarbone.  But he is alive and doctors expect him to recover.  He has health insurance thankfully but will have many expenses during his recovery that his income and savings will be hard-pressed to cover. 

What Kerry needs from those of us who know him (and maybe some  who don't) are our good thoughts for his speedy recovery and some $$ to help cover where insurance and savings will not.  

Let's pull together and help get him back on his feet and back to hiking, sailing, building tube amps, and playing guitar. (Oh, and making great sails too)
