 To My Dearest Family and Friends,

As you may know, my family is in a very challenging situation right now.  BOTH of my parents are facing serious medical issues while at the same time trying to process the very sudden and traumatic passing of my brother and only sibling  Rodney :(

You may be familiar with the phrase, “When it rains, it pours.”  That happens to all of us in life at times. 
This is our time.

My Father, Ron, currently requires two specialized  caregivers in his home 24 hours a day for the skilled care of his progressive Parkinson’s and Dementia diseases. 

Meanwhile my Mother, Marilyn, has  Advanced Osteoporosis, a medical condition in which the bones become brittle and fragile from loss of tissue.
She is in Chronic Pain and is very frail. 

It’s really a tough, urgent battle, and a cross for me and my family to bear,  and that is why we’re putting out this urgent CALL TO ACTION to all of you.

We are not the kind of people who usually asks friends to help us. We  are private and proud. But, we are truly overwhelmed right now to the point where we need those who love us to step in and help.
So, we turn to you, my Family and Friends!

We need your financial help now to sustain my father’s life and underwrite his medical expenses he has incurred while he fights for his life.
It has been a Godsend for them to be cared for TOGETHER in their home!

Unfortunately, Medicare insurance does not cover a lot and is useless in paying for home care for a long term catastrophic illness like Parkinson's/Dementia. It also does not provide for the around the clock skilled medical care necessary to keep mom and dad safe and cared for with dignity in their handicapped-proofed home. My family simply cannot afford everything needed for my parent’s medical needs and it breaks my heart. 

So, I am reaching out to all of you today; to join me in my cause to save my mom and dad.
Whether you're friend, family,  or all-around fine person like my parents are, your donation will help immensely.
While I cannot ease their emotional pain at this time, I am hoping to alleviate their physical discomfort. We humbly ask that you kindly extend financial assistance; absolutely any DONATION will HELP, for we realize you have families to care for, as well.
