I really wanted to let everyone know how much I love and appreciate all that you have given to me!!!
I never could have imagned a month ago that I would be in the position of purchasing such an amazing chair.  I am quiet and I needed a lot of encouragement to start on this journey.
Thanks so much to family and great friends here and abroad  who have helped me.  Also to the many strangers that felt prompted to give.
I have felt so less alone I feel so lucky and blessed - it is said that God blesses us through the efforts of other people.  I know this is true !!

Hi, my name is Helen.  I am from a small town in Oxfordshire, England. 

I was lucky enough to spend my twenties working and travelling around the world, especially loving the outdoors.
It was a great shock to be diagnosed in 2006 with MS.  It has affected my legs and lower body and so far it has been confined there. 
I have been wheelchair bound for the last 2 years but try to be as independent as possible.

I am training Boo, my best mate to be an assistance dog.  We are now at level 2.

My aussie friends came over recently to visit and were concerned that sitting in a chair for so long was the reason I was developing  a curvature in my spine.

They convinced me to look into a wheelchair that would allow me to be upright and straight.

What a feeling to be upright and straight.   It's hard  to explain the relief it affords and freedom to do more things.  The health benefits are many - as you can imagine.

Unfortunately the price is way beyond my range which is why I have been persuaded by my aussie friends to go public and appeal for any assistance you may offer.
