The man. The legend. The voice that made receiving emails cool. I give you Elwood Edwards.
He is most famous for recording the sound clips used for AOL (formerly known as America Online) back in 1989. These included "Welcome", "You've Got Mail!", "Files Done!", and "Goodbye". Since the 90s, his voice became very well known nationwide.
He was recently found working as a Uber driver in Ohio by political canvasser Brandee Barker.
I started this campaign as I want to pay my respects to Elwood by letting others contribute. I believe as an Uber driver, it can be hard to make a living even if its just for fun. I think Elwood deserves it. Let's all help out this awesome man.
