SERVPRO of DeRidder, Leesville, & Vinton need your help to make a dream come true for Drake!!!! On March 12, 2018, Drake, now 8, was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma , or DIPG. It's the most deadly form of childhood cancer, with no known cure. Drake is from Vinton, LA and like any good ol' country boy he likes to fish, hunt, be outdoors, and loves LSU Football!! We discovered Drake after reading a news story about his wish to receive 190 Christmas cards in the mail. We need your help to do much more than that for him. We made direct contact with Drake’s mother Danielle to let her in on the big surprise we wanted to make happen & she was ecstatic! Our wish for Drake is that he be able to attend the upcoming LSU vs UCF Fiesta Bowl Game in Arizona. The game is on New Year's Day, so please start donating. All proceeds will go to purchasing game tickets, round-trip plane tickets, local transportation, hotel, & some spending money for Drake & his mother, Danielle, to be able to attend an event of a lifetime. Our office has been in constant contact with Danielle to let her know where we stand with the amazing outpouring of support from everyone! When she was shown the latest update she stated she didn’t think she could cry anymore tears & said she wished she could hug the neck of every person who has prayed, sent well wishes, & has donated. Once this campaign comes to a close we will be purchasing the things needed to get Drake to the Fiesta Bowl & for him to have some souvenirs of his amazing time, then handing over all remaining money to Danielle to help with medical bills!
