Lest They Be Forgotten
Teachers tell me as I travel, "History is best learned from those who were there." I've compiled and assembled one of the largest oral histories ever recorded of Americans at war.
I've be fortunate, speaking to tens of thousands of students across the country, teaching them, "Freedom is not Free!" It's been a life-changing program for many as they come away with a greater knowledge and appreciation for all veterans and the freedoms we share.
I've given voice to our veterans, "Capturing Courage on Camera." It's been my honor to meet these heroes, shake their hands, hug them and thank them for their service.
I've been told I'm doing God's work and am a, "Church without walls." It's been a very humbling and educational experience for myself. I take ownership in my veterans and pride myself in being true to history, recording these stories. When a veteran dies their stories go with them. Therefore there's a sense of urgency about my work.
For me to continue reaching out with these stories I need your help. I provide a vehicle and platform to record the stories and with your help I'll continue to have the resources to do so. I particularly want to share these first hand accounts from history with our younger generation in our schools.
Your support of this project will enable me to continue finding and interviewing veterans of all wars across the country, documenting their stories for histories sake, and taking them into our schools. In addition, your support will help me acquire the resources needed to bring these stories to the world to learn from via the internet.
I've devoted my life to this project and I'm very passionate about my work, our country, veterans, and our younger generation.
Please take a moment to read through this material, view the short video clips and pictures. I would then ask that you share them with friends, family, social media acquaintances and anybody else you feel would benefit from this project. In doing so, you'll take ownership in my work, help me continue serving my country, and partnering together, honor all those who have served and are presently serving in our military and law-enforcement communities.
