Leslie's Funeral Expenses

On Tuesday May 9, my whole life changed. I got the phone call no child ever wants to get. My mom was in ICU in critical condition. When I got to the hospital, the surgeon walked out to me and my dad. He explained that her bowels had ruptured and that she coded for 8 minutes. They had to do emergency surgery to remove 6 feet of her small intestines. She had damaged her liver, kidneys, and heart and was in coma. The last 2 weeks the doctor has ran countless of tests to determine her brain activity. On Saturday May 20, the doctor told us she only had basic brain stem function which means she can breathe somewhat on her own and she can still feel and react to pain but that was it. They said there wasn't anything else they could do expect keep her comfortable at this point. We had to make the hard decision to take her off the ventilator. She has been moved to a hospice care center for the remaining time. They doctor thinks she'll only be here for the next few days now. 
My mom doesn't have life insurance. So all of her medical and funeral expenses are coming out of pocket. Also my mother has a son. He has been incarcerate for the last 3 years and its going to cost $800 to have he transported to the funeral.  My dad normally doesn't ask for help and neither do I but I've been out of work the last 3 weeks dealing with health issues myself. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer a month ago, and I've been getting over surgery.  My mom was taken from us extremely early. She'll be 47 in 2 weeks. I never expected to be planning a funeral instead of a birthday party. My mom was loved by many and she will we great missed. No amount is to small and everything will be greatly appreciated.
