<< TDLR; I'm a transman who is very uncomfortable with his chest and I want to get surgery to fix my dysphoria, but surgery is expensive, and I need help. >>
I've been openly out since my sophomore of high school. I have to wear a compressing binder to hide my chest in order make a more masculine appearance, however, wearing one too long hurts and it can be very uncomfortable. It's hard to wear tank tops or go swimming and I feel very insecure about my torso in general. I can't shower without dreading the feeling of how my current body looks. My mental health almost relies on this surgery. There's no way I can do this alone, though.
Top surgery is definitely the solution to make me feel more confident in myself and make life a little easier. I've never been more sure about doing something like this.
I don't have a supportive family, so getting help from them to transition is impossible, and money is hard to come by right now. At the moment, I am currently a freelance illustration artist, but it sometimes doesn't bring in much income since I do have bills to pay, and that's always a priority, so anything that is willing to be donated would mean the absolute world to me. It will go automatically to my savings.
I just want to feel comfortable in my own skin and feel happy.
