They say to set goals that scare the living crap out of you. This is one of those said goals. On May 26th in beautiful Ojai, California I will be attempting to run a Boston Qualifying time for 2020. 
As most of you know I am now on the other side of the country using public transportation as my main form of transportation, checking the weather forecast regularly as anything is possible, and eating pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner. Signing up for a race is simple, putting in the work is a whole other ball game. I am reaching out for help with that “work”. Unfortunately, it is not as seamless as it was before to sign up for a race close to home and wake up an hour before start time to drive about 15 minutes (sometimes run). Flights from NYC to LAX currently seem way out of my budget. Truly ANYTHING helps; $1 a penny, words of affirmation! Thank you all in advance for following me along on this journey.
