Lela and Family Emergency Fund

Everyone has special people in their lives. Giving, generous, strong and loving. That perfectly describes my best friend Lela Bentley. She is a great mom, wife and friend. No matter what goes on in her life she always has a smile on her face.
Her older son, Ryan (12), was born with a rare disease called wolf Parkinson white. His first heart surgery was when he was less than a month old. 2 years ago Ryan, suffered a cardiac arrest. She pushed through that, strong for her family. Strong for Ryan. He has a pacemaker now and is a strong health boy. That doesn't stop her from worrying.
Her younger son, Caleb, is low functioning autistic. Because Caleb is in need of constant care. Lela's husband Chris had to quit his job in order to care for him. Lela can't be a stay at home mom because she needs the medical benefits her job offers. Government funding is awful. Luckily her workplace is understanding when she has several monthly doctors’ visits to children's hospital. Or has to run off because of an household emergency.
Her boys are so good. Her husband is so good. Lela is genuinely a good hearted person. Who brings smiles to everyone's faces.
This year has been especially tough. She had to switch to part time work to try and see if her husband could make more money working.. they realized they were going further in debt so she had to move back to full time and Chris had to stop working again. She says "My boys are alive! We have a roof over our heads.. we are ok!" Last night her rental home caught fire. She and her family are displaced.
This page isn't to raise money for things. We all have things. This is to just HELP her. She needs help! I usually have a lot to say to Lee.. positive words of encouragement.. something. Today I have nothing. I don't know what to say to her. I'm in shock.
