Hello,
I am raising funds to help pay my legal fees to get a District Court in Iowa to issue an order to Nebraska to update my gender on my birth certificate. Additionally, I am raising fund to help pay for my advocacy for transgender rights.
Unfortunately, being one of the thousands of transgender people who are in poverty, I do not have the resources to cover these legal fees and pay for my advocacy work.
Specifically, I must raise funds to update my Iowa drivers license. However, to do that, I need my Nebraska birth certificate to show female and to do that I need a court order.
Thank you for helping me fight this battle and thank you for being with me while I fought many others.
