Legal Costs to Fight Corruption

My story is long and complicated but in a nutshell I am standing up against a powerful and very abusive university corruption that has violated my rights to Free Speech and Due Process. All that because I protected the rights of a female student who was sexually harassed by a male professor.

While the university has their own UW-System's legal counsel at their disposal and is defended by the Wisconsin Attorney General's office at the costs of the taxpayer I have to retain my own lawyer. Fighting a Civil Rights case is very difficult, takes a long time and many resources, and is exceedingly expensive. I just can't do it alone anymore. Please help.
This affects not just me but all of us. Our Bill of Rights are only worth something if the government follows them and if their abuse of our rights will be met with resistance. You can make a difference here. With your help I can prevail and it will be our victory. I will make sure that I will keep you in the loop and Matt Kittle, the watchdog.org investigative journalist is following the case very closely.
All I have is hope. I have not had any victory yet as I have been fighting this alone with my husband by my side for the past 5 years. It has been draining but we know we are doing the right thing. Civil Rights are extremely precious. They differentiate our country from the many, horrible totalitarian systems that abuse their citizens. I often feel like my workplace, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville is modeled after the North Korean system. Please help me change that. Together we can make a change.
Just imagine, Chancellor Shields has been trying to fire me for posting on Facebook, for talking to a reporter, for having a Twitter account. There is no Free Speech for UW-Platteville employees.
Please know that I commit to giving back all the money that you donate after the court will reimburse me the legal costs. My goal is not to make money, my goal is to fight for Civil Rights and against a corrupt system. I would love to later create a scholarship to support young minds in their endeavor to create a more just society.
