Help support vulnerable families in Leeds
Staggering numbers of families in Leeds are living below the poverty line, and are struggling to buy nappies, baby food, post-birth sanitary products, baby equipment, clothes and other essential items for children under 4. Unfortunately, most of the time these items are not available from standard food banks.
Leeds Baby Bank provides vulnerable families in need with these products, and is run entirely by volunteers. The charity accepts items donated by the public and gives them to families across Leeds to help them look after their families. They are currently the only charity in Leeds that offers this service.
In order to keep doing this vital work, Leeds Baby Bank needs to raise money to help them buy essential items like nappies, wipes, and formula, which cannot be donated second-hand due to Health & Safety regulations. They also need to raise money for new premises where they can collect, store, and sort donations from the public.. A proper warehouse facility will allow Leeds Baby Bank to process and sort donations more quickly and efficiently so they can help more families in Leeds.
In less than a year, Leeds Baby Bank has helped 500 families across Leeds - but they need your help to help even more.
All donations go directly to Leeds Baby Bank and will be used to fund new premises and purchase essential items to donate to families in Leeds.
