Justice for Muhiyidin (Moya) d’Baha

On Tuesday, February 6, 2018, Muhiyidin (Moya) Moye (aka Muhiyidin d'baha) was shot and killed in New Orleans at 1:30am walking his bike home. Muhiyidin was visiting New Orleans for Mardi Gras and there are no known suspects in his murder at this time.Muhiyidin, or Moya to his friends and family, was a beloved member of the Charleston, SC community, a dedicated follower of the Bahai faith, an active warrior for social justice and racial equity, and a lover of music, children, and freedom from oppression for all. He walked in deep love and compassion for all he met, and his loss leaves a deep hole in the hearts of all who knew him. Can you help us establish a reward to help find the person who took him from us? We do not want this beautiful soul to become just another statistic; a young black man victimized by gun violence. His life was much, much more than that. Please give what you can, and know that all funds raised will go to increase the reward for any tips that lead to the arrest or conviction of his murderer.
