Cross Cultural trip to Germany

My opportunity!

I have been given the opportunity this summer to stay with the family of my Grand Vally State University college dormmate for two weeks in Bonn Germany.

How will this trip benefit me?
It's a chance to visit Europe and have a cross-cultural experience away from the big touristy attractions. It will be an authentic "live as they live" in Germany experience. 

In addition, I will be taking a campus tour of the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg
to gather information about their Master’s program
for BioMedical Sciences and a potential study abroad opportunity.

This cross-cultural experience will benefit me in many ways during my college career. It will allow me to better understand the changing world around me, the views from afar, and allow me to integrate these philosophies into my own life.

A side benefit will be exploring the grounds that all my ancestors came from. Being of German and Polish descent I am sure I will gain a new perspective on where I came from.
