Lava destroys farm of Jack A. Weber

I am Maggie Halford McClellan...mother of two boys, wife of a USCG Captain.  Jack Adam Weber has been a friend who has inspired me, challenged me, supported my ideas and really made me think.  He has been there for me during difficult times, and for that, I think of him as "ohana"....or "family."  

Jack lost everything two days ago.  His farm of 18 years was destroyed completely....nothing but 20 foot high lava in all directions of his beloved and self-built paradise home and 5 acre farm. I watched him build this with his own hands over many years, through blood sweat and tears. He had no insurance to cover this massive loss.

As friends, we feel helpless. What do you do for someone whose life has been so drastically changed overnight? My heart cries for him....I can not even begin to fathom the helplessness and despair that I know he now endures every day from this point forward, so I decided to put this together for him....to show that I care. There are many, many dear friends that love him, and I know they want to help him in some way as well. I have received his blessing on this, albeit reluctantly.
