On the morning of May 10th 2018 we found out that Laura did not come home from a walk the night before. Panic set in and many people gathered to help find Laura. Sometime later in the morning a body fitting her description had been found. After many hours of waiting the body was identified as Laura. While it's still under investigation it appears to have been foul play. Laura was engaged to be married in August of this year. Many of the RSVP's have been sent and every one of them returned will be a sad reminder of what will never be. Laura was the youngest of three. She was beautiful, smart, a very nice and giving person. She was not deserving of the end she was given. She is survived by her two children, Jacob (10) and Natalie (8). She is also survived by Janine (3) who is Corey's, her fiance, daughter who Laura lovingly brought into her home. Laura has two older siblings, Charyl and James, along with her parents, Jan and Wayne. This is a difficult time for all of us, a sweet, fun, caring young mother was taken away from us unexpectedly. A future family was destroyed. So many lives have been turned upside down, mostly affecting the young children.  Laura spent a lot of her extra time helping her father who was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year. It's a tragic story that those of us left behind will have to overcome, somehow, someway. But we will. The funds we a seeking will be used for the funeral cost for Laura. Any leftover money will go to cover final expenses and finally set up educational funds for the children. The funeral funds will be needed as soon as possible, however, we are grateful for whatever and whenever funds are given.  We are ever grateful to those that can help in any way shape or form. Despite the very close and painful reality that there is a lot of evil in the world, there is a brightness of hope also. We thank you all on and her family's behalf. Scott Phillips, Laura's brother in law will disperse funds where needed. Current news story, no update. Laura's body was identified, no more information due to the ongoing investigation. http://lfpress.com/news/local-news/body-found-in-huron-county-woman-reported-missing Updated news story http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/london/london-ontario-vanastra-clinton-laura-wigelsworth-huron-county-1.4658781
