Launch Anarchist Watch
This month, we're launching a new media project with your support. Anarchist Watch is an independent journalism endeavor to document riots, violent protest, and anarchist activity in the United States.
We are citizens concerned with the rise of political violence in our country, and the number of so-called 'anti-fascist' networks which expressly advocate violence against others and for the dissolution of the U.S. government.
While the mainstream media covers protests, they often fail to document any specific groups or ideologies. Few independent projects have intended to cover violent revolutionary causes, and do not usually produce original content from protest events themselves. With your contribution, Anarchist Watch will strive to solve both of these issues.
Our first goal is to raise $2,500. Your support will cover the following launch expenses:
- Professional photography and videography equipment to document events
- Appropriate web domains and secure technical infrastructure
- Business registration for the generation of Anarchist Watch fundraising platforms and website
- Safety equipment to protect our team at riots and violent protests
