Lasey Dunaman has been announced as a finalist to compete for the title of Miss First Nation 2018 battling it out with 6 other deadly Aboriginal drag queens from around the nation to take the crown.
Lasey has been doing drag for just over 4 years and is best known for being 1 half of the groundbreaking duo the Dreamtime Divas. Lasey has travelled and performed all over Australia promoting inclusion and community acceptance for all our mob along side her diva sista.
Paving out her own solo career she has performed and represented as a proud Kamilaroi Queen all across Australia promoting awareness and much needed education towards depression and suicide among our youth.
In 2016 Lasey was a wild card entrant for Dragnation performing at the famous Stonewall on Sydney's Oxford St, Also being named first runner up for Drag Idol 2017 on the Mid North Coast of NSW. This time around Lasey hopes to win the crown for Miss First Nation 2018.
As a passionate advocate, committed performer and with the drive to achieve her goals Lasey has one hell of a chance to take the crown.
As you all know the art of drag is not cheap and any help would be greatly appreciated and used to help Lasey step up and slay with the big girls. This competition is the Olympics for Aboriginal Queens's across the nation.
#TEAMLASEY for this to happen Lasey needs some help to fund her travel, meals and also some new fabrics and materials to make some new fabulous frocks and accessories to help her achieve her goals.
